Next Colstme 30th September
by Alexander Lazarević Aug. 14, 2010

Aug. 14, 2010

Please join us on the 30th of September for our fourth Cologne Smalltalk User Meetup. As always: Anyone interested in Smalltalk is invited, regardless if you only recently discovered the magic of doing things the Smalltalk way, are a die hard VM-Hacker, want to share your experience on web-development in Seaside or like to chit-chat while enjoying a Kölsch. There is no agenda yet, but I guess there will be much to talk about just after this years ESUG. We’re gonna meet at 7pm at Vision Factory GmbH Sömmeringstr. 75 50823 Köln (across the yard at the rear house) Please send a short notice to laza(a)blobworks.com if you are planning to attend. http://colstme.selfish.org <http://twitter.com/colstme> <http://tinyurl.com/firstcolstme>

Someone to share a room for ESUG'10 ?
by Serge Stinckwich Aug. 13, 2010

Aug. 13, 2010

Hi all, i would like to share the cost of a bedroom with someone else during ESUG'10. As i will already pay a lot to come from Ha Noi to Barcelona, i'm looking for something in the range of 40-60 euros per night. BTW, normally if i don't drink beers, i don't snore ;-) Thank you. [JOB] Moose Engineer at INRIA
by Marcus Denker July 13, 2010

July 13, 2010

RMoD is looking for an engineer to support the development of a demonstrator for Moose. The constraints linked with the position are that the person should have got his master in 2009 or 2010. The starting date is 1 of December 2010, duration 1 year. The salary should be around 3500 Euros bruto ~> 2300 Euros before taxes (but after health insurance). The job will probably consist in - getting Moose running in a web browser - having a better reporting system. - building a dashboard What this of course means is that it's kind of a cool job: work in a research lab, but no paper writing, no teaching, no administration. In addition: - live in France (one hour from Paris, 1h20 from London, 35 min from Brussels) - try a lot of good beers (our office is just 10km from the border to Belgium) - enjoy french food - code all the day in Smalltalk By september we should decide if we take this year in 2010 or 2011 (for dec 2011 the person should have got a master in 2010 or 2011). Please send your cv.
