Hi all,
We have a new project starting at Lifeware and we're looking for people to join us.
Our stack is Smalltalk: Glamorous Toolkit (Pharo), GemStone for deployment, strict TDD and pair programming. We follow the real XP practices as described by Kent Beck. You will work across the full lifecycle: talking to clients, designing, building, shipping, and maintaining. The domain is insurance. Work is on-site with flexible remote days.
We're looking for people with a STEM background who care about writing code with high quality. Smalltalk experience is welcome but not required. Curiosity and craft matter more than years on a CV. Enthusiasm for working with AI is a plus.
Locations: Bioggio (Lugano, Switzerland), Luxembourg, or Barcelona. International team, everything in English.
