Dear community, As you all know, we are preparing a Special Issue on Smalltalk Technologies in COLA Journal, https://www.sciencedirect.com/special-issue/331473/smalltalk-technologies . As the submission deadline is approaching, we started negotiating an extension with Editorial team. It would be very useful if we would know who is preparing a submission, and if it expected to be ready by 15th of June or you need some extension (and how many days). Just a question: What is the Open Access policy for that Special Issue? I fail to find that information, other than the Genreal Elsevier Open Access policy, where they want an APC of 2940 Dollar. Surely, such ludicrous fees are not in scope for the Special Issue? Best regards -Tobias

Hi Tobias, My understanding is that the paper would not be in open access. I don’t believe that IWST has the budget to pay for those fees either... Anyways, we will contact the journal and see if there is a third option we can find. Cheers, G
