in all the excitement about the fact that people are interested, I forgot to mention it would be helpful if everybody who plans to attend indicated their language preference. People seem to be worried about that. Since we meet in Zürich and most attendees are from Zürich or the wider area around it, German sure is the language most people speak.
But I think it is not a problem to speak english. We should just know it is desired ;-)
So if you already indicated you'd come and would like us to speak english, please let us know. If you want to participate and haven't told us yet, please also mention if you prefer German or English.

I've now made a reservation for a table at the Restaurant Steinfels, Heinrichstrasse 267 8005 Zürich for November 5th, starting at 7pm.
The restaurant provides free WI-FI and good beer and food. We won't have a beamer, so if anybody wants to show something, we have to do it on a laptop screen.
