*The Contest Brief
*Welcome to the International Workshop on Smalltalk
Technology (IWST) logo contest. We would like people to design the
logo IWST is going to use in the next following years. IWST is
traditionally organize by _European Smalltalk User Group (ESUG_
<https://esug.org/>) within the annual ESUG conference. The goals of
the workshop is to create a forum around contributions and
experiences in building or using technologies related to Smalltalk.
While maturity of presented ideas and results is not crucial, it is
expected that their presentation triggers discussion and exchange of
ideas. The topics of your paper can be on all aspect of Smalltalk,
theoretical as well as practical. Authors are invited to submit
research articles or industrial papers.

*Target Audience
*Our main audience is research scientists and innovators from within
the Smalltalk community. However, we would like to broaden the scope
to researchers from outside the community.

*Top Three Things To Communicate Through the Logo Design:
*#1 Research and innovation
#2 Smalltalk
#3 Community

*Considerations
*The logo should be released in Creative Commons license. It is
desirable that the design allows us to later include the conference
year.

*Duration
*This contest will run during the entire 2024, that is, until the
31st of December. The contest winner will be decided and
communicated during early 2025.

*Prizes*
The winner will be announced during ESUG'25 and awarded by a
certificate and a financial prize of EUR 200
