Needs to be intensive and thorough Smalltalk specifically on VisualAge covering:

1. Core ANSI Smalltalk
2. SUnits 4.0 preferably
3. Composition Editor /GUI construction and framework in depth
4. Metaprogramming in Smalltalk
5. Frameworks of XML Parsing, TCP-IP..
6. DLL / Native Platform function invocation

Hands on training and intensive project works through the training period.
